Allow Screen Recording in System Settings, then select the feature again. Relaunch Macotate if macOS asks.

I can’t click or scroll in another app.

Choose Mouse, or adjust passthrough in Settings → Input Behaviour.

AirDraw isn’t tracking my hand.

Allow Camera access and keep your hand clearly visible in good lighting.

AI tools are unavailable.

Check that Apple Intelligence is enabled and its model is ready. Availability depends on your Mac, language and macOS version.
